The Dutch GMO Application Process in Short

In order to better educate about legislation, regulations and procedures that apply to working with genetically modified organisms (GMOs), the GMO office has decided, in consultation with the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, to develop an English-language guide for non-Dutch-speaking users. The information available on this webpage is encompasses the key points deemed relevant by a survey of safety officers in 2021 and is not all-encompassing. If you have questions beyond the scope of the information presented here, we recommend reaching out to your safety officer or the GMO office.
